National Public Lands Trail Work Day at Stringers Ridge

  • Stringers Ridge Spears Avenue Chattanooga, TN United States (map)

Join the City of Chattanooga, Trust for Public Land, White Oak Bicycle Collective, SORBA, and others in celebrating National Public Lands Day at Stringer's Ridge by putting some sweat equity into Stringer's Ridge Preserve, our community's prized urban wilderness. National Public Lands Day highlights the vital impact of public lands on our well-being, from the air we breathe to the spaces we inhabit.

All ages are welcome to volunteer for this event. Volunteers will be supporting trail clean-up, clearing vegetation, general beautification projects, and more! Equipment will be provided. Volunteers are invited to bring personal garden tools as well.

The morning of volunteering will be followed by a community celebration of Stringer's Ridge's 10-year Anniversary and include refreshments and fun, so plan to stay a bit longer to enjoy the whole day’s festivities!
