Walden's Ridge Park Grand Opening

  • Walden's Ridge Park 1001 Reads Lake Road Chattanooga, TN, 37415 United States (map)

Get ready Chattanooga! Walden's Ridge Park is finally opening at the end of September! We're stoked to see this project coming to an end and open to the public to enjoy soon!

Walden’s Ridge Park, located on the side of Signal Mountain, will open to the public September 30 with a Ribbon Cutting and Grand Opening Celebration! This 200-acre mountainside county park is one of the most unique parks in America and will feature ten miles of trails to include mountain biking, hiking, trail running, and bouldering.

The trails within the park are the first purpose-built, progressive, downhill trails in the Chattanooga area, setting the standard for the region.

Big thanks to all the partners who have contributed to making this park a reality! Hamilton County Tennessee Parks & Recreation Department Hamilton County Mayor’s Office The Land Trust for Tennessee Southeastern Climbers Coalition IMBA Trail Solutions North Chickamauga Creek Conservancy and all the SORBA Chattanooga members who donated time and sweat equity to build and maintain the trails as we waited for an opening day! High fives all around!

Hamilton County will host a ribbon cutting on September 30th to officially open the park to the public.
