Celebrate Women’s Mountain Bike Day with an afternoon ride and community dinner hosted by SORBA Chattanooga.

We’ll kick things off with a mixed paced group ride from Ascalon Trailhead at 2:00 PM, enjoying the trails and good company along the way. After the ride, we’ll continue the celebration with a relaxed dinner gathering at the home of local rider and SORBA supporter Liza Vannoy, who is generously providing the meal and beverages.

Dinner will be Mojo-style, with vegan and vegetarian options, plus wine and beer to toast a great day on the trails.

Riders can choose to drive from the trailhead to Liza’s home after the ride, or—if you're feeling rowdy—ride all the way there directly from Ascalon.

This event is designed to build community and celebrate women and gender-diverse riders in mountain biking, so come ready for a fun ride, good conversation, and a shared meal.

Schedule

• 5:30 PM – Ride wraps up

• 6:00 PM – Dinner & social time

Capacity is limited to 20 riders, so registration is required.

Women’s+ means this event is for women as well as trans, nonbinary, and gender-diverse riders who feel comfortable in a women-centered space. We’re here to lift each other up, push our limits, and laugh until our faces hurt.

A $10 parking fee per vehicle is required by Georgia Department of Natural Resources. Carpooling is encouraged.
