Godsey Ridge
Red Bank’s Ridge Riding Close to Town
Tucked into the heart of Red Bank, just minutes from downtown Chattanooga, the Godsey Ridge Trails are the newest addition to Chattanooga's growing trail network. Opened in April 2026, this multi-use system was built for walking, biking, and outdoor adventure for riders of all ages. The project was made possible through a partnership between the City of Red Bank, the State of Tennessee, Trust for Public Land, and L.L. Bean, with SORBA Chattanooga supporting trail stewardship and future programming.
Set along rolling, wooded terrain, this 1.5-mile trail system offers a welcoming experience for new riders and families. The trails feature smooth tread and gentle grades across two short loops. With the Red Bank Community Center serving as its trailhead and hub, and the high school nearby, Godsey Ridge is shaping up to be a go-to spot for evening rides and community events.
