Walden’s Ridge Park
CHATTANOOGA’S PROGRESSIVE DOWNHILL PLAYGROUND
Seven years in the making, Walden's Ridge Park is one of the Southeast's most ambitious community trail projects. Located just 10 minutes from downtown Chattanooga, this 200-acre park delivers nearly 900 feet of vertical relief across a system designed specifically for modern gravity riding. The best part? It's completely free to the public.
Master-planned by IMBA Trail Solutions, the park was built through a partnership between SORBA Chattanooga, North Chickamauga Creek Conservancy, Southeastern Climbers Coalition, The Land Trust for Tennessee, and Hamilton County Parks & Recreation. While it primarily caters to advanced riders with sculpted berms, jump lines, technical rock features, and fast descents, the park also features multi-use climbing trails and more than 30 bouldering areas, making it a true multi-sport destination.
