Rabid Raccoon 25K Trail Race by Bad Beard Events
An epic middle-distance trail running race in Chattanooga, Tennessee, that begins atop Raccoon Mountain at Laurel Point. This event will take place on the north and western sides of the mountain, utilizing the following trails: Megawatt, Grindstone Ridge, Lower Chunky, Live Wire 1 & 2, High Voltage, and Split Rock.
MLK Day of Service with Lookout Mountain Conservancy
We’re kicking off 2026 by partnering with Lookout Mountain Conservancy for an MLK Day of Service Trail Work Party on the Far Enough Trail! Come help us give this in-town trail some much-needed love while celebrating a day dedicated to community and service.
River to Clouds Trail Race + Whiskey Festival
The first ever Fleet Feet Chattanooga River to Clouds Whiskey Trail Run comes to Chattanooga on February 20-21, 2026. and we’re seeking volunteers to help manage aid stations and keep the runners stoked! Runners traverse the Lookout Mountain trail system and finish at First Horizon Pavilion to cheers, music, and the full energy of the Whiskey Festival, with proceeds benefiting SORBA Chattanooga.
IMBA Trail Care School
We’re excited to share that SORBA Chattanooga was selected as one of only four organizations nationwide to host a 20-person IMBA Trail Care School! The training will take place at Enterprise South Nature Park in partnership with Hamilton County Parks and Recreation on February 28 and March 1, 2026.
Wild Trails Flipper Bend Half Marathon & 5 Mile Trail Race
This race is a joint collaboration of Wild Trails, the North Chickamauga Creek Conservancy and Flipper Bend Community. All proceeds will go to the trail maintenance of the Flipper Bend state natural area and the North Chickamauga Creek section of the Cumberland Trail. Join us for a beautiful 1/2 marathon or 5-mile trail run on the back of Signal Mountain on the Flipper Bend Trails. Thank you and we can't wait to see you at the end of March!
Chattanooga Outdoor Festival
Experience the 3rd Annual Chattanooga Outdoor Festival on April 11, 2026 at the Choo Choo Gardens & Station Street. Invasive Species Removal Workshop
Invasive Species Removal Workshops
Help us remove invasive plant species such as kudzu, privet, Japanese honeysuckle, bittersweet, English ivy and many others from the banks of our local creeks this fall! Removing invasive species is essential for restoring native habitat and prepping our creeks for streambank repair workshops. WaterWays will have gloves and tools available, but feel free to bring your own gear! Gear such as loppers, gloves, hand saws, eye protection, closed toed shoes, sunscreen, water bottle and a hat are suggested.

Moonshine Trail Expansion with Lula Lake
Join Lula Lake for a trail work day on the Moonshine Trails and help begin work on their 2-mile expansion! Volunteers will work alongside Lula’s Land Manger to get hands on experience building a new trail to create a full loop on the trail system.
Santa Scavenger Hunt with HANDUP
We’re teaming up with Handup for a festive, two-wheeled adventure! Join us for a holiday-themed scavenger hunt ride, rolling out from Clever Alehouse and looping back for post-ride hangs. Mountain or gravel bikes are best for the mixed terrain. Helmet + lights required.
After the ride, enjoy good beer with good people for a good cause. HANDUP is sponsoring an IPA keg, with all proceeds supporting SORBA Chattanooga.

Tennessee Interscholastic Cycling League State Championship
NICA and the Tennessee Interscholastic Cycling League State Championship is coming to Raccoon Mountain! Over 400 student athletes from across the state will hit the trails and give it their all in this exciting finale to the 2025 season. The trails will be closed to the public on this date to avoid conflict with racers.
Five Points 50 Race
5 Points 50 is Chattanooga's oldest mountain bike race that traverses Lula lake Land Trust and Cloudland Canyon State Park trail systems across Lookout Mountain. Whether you're in it to win it or want to ride the party pace with your friends, this race has a little something for everyone! With a 50-mile and 25-mile option, Racers will enjoy a grueling course packed with single track, climbs, downhills, rock gardens, and smooth flowy trails. Starting at Lula Lake Land Trust’s Core Preserve, riders will quickly begin making their way to the 5 Points Trail system and Durham Mine Trails, then back to LLLT via the Cloudland Connector Trail and Moonshine Trails. This race is sure to bring incredible views, amazing trails, and a heck of a good time!

Lula Lake Land Trust has officially taken over the 5 Points 50 race as a fundraiser for the organization. Roost Racing approached LLLT in 2023 about transferring the race and LLLT accepted as an attempt to keep this iconic race alive, as well as raise critical funds for our trail building and maintenance efforts!
All proceeds from the 5 Points 50/25 support Lula Lake Land Trust’s trail building and maintenance. Lula Lake has built over 60-miles of trail on our properties across Lookout Mountain, including the Moonshine trails, Cloudland Connector Trail, and the Durham Mine Trails. Your participation in this race (and all of Lula Lake’s races) goes directly back into our trail maintenance and construction efforts!

We’re collaborating with Hamilton County Parks & Recreation and Outdoor Chattanooga to bring modular bike skills features to the Riverwalk and Chester Frost County Park! These pop-up trail elements will be installed near the Hubert Fry Center on July 17, creating a fun and accessible space for riders to build confidence and bike handling skills.
